The role:

Allocation of work to the right skillset to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and coaching and mentoring your team of eight heavy diesel trades people is this roles’ primary focus.Contributing to the PDIC’s financial performance by overseeing labour efficiencies, ensuring completion of timecards and service reports, and managing work to meet estimates and quotes also forms part of this role.

Communication and liaison with our sales team and customers is critical to the success of this role.

About you:

  • Hold a trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Have work experience with heavy equipment industry
  • Are experienced in leading a team of technicians and with service-related admin
  • Strive to deliver an exceptional customer experience in all that you do

The Pre-Delivery Inspection Centre

Our newly established Pre-Delivery Inspection Centre is where all new machines are prepared and spec’ed prior to delivery to our customers.  Being a dedicated centre with dedicated staff, the processes and systems developed and adhered to will ensure consistency of product and speed to market.  As a result, our customers will take delivery of a better-quality product quicker!
